The Television Production course enabled me to explore numerous avenues from Sound Editing to Script Writing taking in all genres and concepts. It allowed students to experiment and toy with all attributes of television production: from idea conception through to broadcast delivery via new technologies, with tutors that not only knew the industry but were anxious to move forwards with it. For me what stood out was the parallels achieved with teaching our tight knit group of students how to deliver content to real world standards. During my final year I developed plans for a production company ready for once I graduated. The result was BrickFlickR, a real estate film marketing company targeting high end property-related companies which I continue to run to this day taking the exacting standards taught to me at UCA and similarly pushing the boundaries and utilising the newest technologies available.
