A number of current and recently graduated Television Production Students were lucky enough to work on the BBC's Sport Relief show Top Dog here at the Maidstone Studios. Working alongside a large crew of very experienced professionals, our students were all engaged in a variety of roles, from helping the art department to looking after the celebraties and their dogs. It was a week long production, with long hours, which the students all fitted in around their studies. It was fantastic experience for them all, learning what it's like to make a complicated, high-end network show from the inside. The feedback from the BBC production team regarding our students performance was nothing short of glowing. This experience is not new to the course, with other students having previousily worked on a number of shows here at the studios from Take Me Out to Jools Holland, to Basil Brush and Draw It to name a few. All highlight the unqiue position our course holds being in a working television studio, and the opportunities it affords our students.
