This unique environment provides students with a professional context for their studies, and access to state of the art facilities for their own projects and many opportunities for hands-on work experience on primetime television productions. We have a deal in place with the studios that any show that comes into the studios that has opportunities for work experience, our students get the first offer.

The course baseroom in the studios is equipped with iMac computers, using industry standard software such as Final Draft, Adobe suite, Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro. We also have own production kit for students to use, including Sony HD cameras, Cannon 7D DSLR cameras, Fostex sound recorder, Go Pro Hero 2, Manfroto tripods, Figrig and Jib Arm, monitors, lights, radio mics and sound blimps.

Alongside work and studies at the studios, students will also use the Rochester UCA campus for their studies, providing students with the social interaction of a large student body and access to learning and research facilities.
